This article will help you understand what is FPS and how does it affect your gaming experience on BlueStacks.
What is FPS and how is it useful?
FPS represents how many frames (images) your monitor is displaying each second. The higher the FPS, the smoother and more responsive the game will seem. BlueStacks lets to set the FPS from settings. Playing your favorite games at 60 fps is now child's play!
How can I set the FPS on BlueStacks?
To set a custom FPS, please click on the gear icon on the side toolbar.
On the Settings page, click on Engine tab.
The slider adjacent to FPS will let you set a custom FPS as desired. The changes will get applied on relaunching BlueStacks.
You can also check the Enable high frame rates to activate frame rates higher than 60 for games that support the same.
You can also check the Display FPS during gameplay to display the FPS on the bottom left of the screen during gameplay.
