Smart controls for Standoff 2 in BlueStacks 4

How does this help?

If you like games like CS:GO, you will most likely already be familiar with Standoff 2. With it's fast-paced gameplay it is an FPS experience like none other.

With the introduction of smart controls, you will notice a dramatic increase in your gaming experience. Read on to know more.

Please note, you will have to be on BlueStacks version 4.180 or above to use smart controls. If you are not on the latest version, to update please click here.

What has changed?

To start off, you will not need to change any settings to use smart controls.

Before, to lock/unlock the mouse cursor, you had to press "F1" to do so.

On entering a match, you would have to lock your mouse cursor by pressing F1, so as to enable shooting mode. You would then have to press "F1" again to unlock the mouse cursor to navigate through various menu screens.

Now, Bluestacks will detect when you're in-game and when you are navigating menus to do this automatically.

To enhance your gameplay even further, we highly recommend you use the pro-tip described below. In this, we recommend you to change the "Jump" control to "Button" instead of "Double-tap".

Launch Standoff 2 from your BlueStacks home screen.

Open the settings menu by clicking on the gear icon on the left side, as shown below.

In the settings menu, click on "Controls", as illustrated below.

Under "Controls", switch the "Jump" controls to "Button", as shown below.

Finally, click on "Apply" on the bottom left.

Thank you for choosing BlueStacks! We hope you enjoy using it. If you have any further questions, please contact us at Happy Gaming!
