How to save in-game progress using your social media accounts on BlueStacks

You can backup your in-game progress on BlueStacks simply by logging into a game with your social media accounts such as Facebook and Google.

Linking your social media accounts to a game ensures that you don't lose your in-game progress even after uninstalling BlueStacks or that particular game. Also, your game progress is automatically restored instantly every time you log in with an already linked account.

This article will explain how to link your social media accounts to the following games on BlueStacks:

The steps here apply to both BlueStacks 4 and BlueStacks 5 as syncing in-game progress is done inside apps.

NOTE: The option to link your app/game to a social media account depends entirely upon whether that app/game supports this capability.


How can I link my social media accounts to different games?

Here is how you can link your accounts to some popular games. Please note that the steps below are applicable for both BlueStacks 4 and BlueStacks 5.

Free Fire

You can link your Facebook, VK, Google and Twitter accounts to Free Fire. The steps below explain how to do it.

1. Launch Free Fire from your BlueStacks home screen.

2. After the game launches, you will be asked to log in. You can choose to do one of the following:

  • To link your Facebook account to the game, click on "Sign in with Facebook".
  • To link accounts other than Facebook, select "More".

3. After you choose to sign in with a particular account, you will be taken to the login page for that platform. Enter your username and password. Then, click on "Continue". Your account will be linked.

4. If you have played the game earlier as a Guest or if you wish to link more of your accounts to the game, you can do it by first, clicking on the "gear" icon in the game lobby, as shown below.

5. On the Basic settings page, locate the "Account" section and click on the "Log out" button under it.

6. You will now be logged out of your current account. Choose the desired platform with which you want to log in to the game and follow the on-screen instructions or refer to step 3 to know how to proceed.

Among Us

Among Us lets you sync your Google account with the game. Here's how you can do it.

1. Launch Among Us from your BlueStacks home screen.

2. If you are launching the game for the first time after installation, the game will ask you to sign in to your account. Click on "Sign In" to sync your Google Play account with Among Us.

3. Among Us will automatically sign you in with the email that you are logged in with on Google Play Store. The game will also request certain permissions before linking your account. Please select "Allow" to continue.

4. You will then receive a confirmation popup from Google to ensure that the permissions were granted by you and not by someone else. To proceed, click on "Allow".

5. Upon successful linking of your account to the game, you will see a notification, as shown in the image. Click on "Close" and continue playing the game.

6. If you have been playing the game for some time as a Guest, you can still link your account to the game. To do so, start by clicking on the "Account" button in the game lobby, as shown below.

7. On the next screen, click on "Sign In", as shown below. Follow the on-screen instructions or refer to step 3 to know how to proceed.

Cookie Run: Kingdom

With Cookie Run: Kingdom, you can link your Google Play, Apple, Facebook and email accounts. The steps below explain how you can do this.

1. Launch Cookie Run: Kingdom from your BlueStacks home screen.

2. If you are launching the game for the first time after installing it, the game will ask you to sign in with one or more of your accounts, as shown in the image. Please select an account to proceed.

3. After you choose to sign in with a particular account, you will be taken to the login page for that platform. Enter your username and password. Then, click on "Continue".

4. Once your account is linked successfully, you will receive a confirmation notification, as shown below.

5. If you have played the game earlier as a Guest or if you wish to link more of your accounts to the game, you can do it by first, clicking on the "hamburger" menu in the game lobby, as shown below.

6. From the hamburger menu, select "Settings".

7. On the "Settings" page, select the "Info" tab.

8. Under the "Info" tab, click on "My DevPlay", as shown below.

9. You will now see a list of accounts that you have already linked and can link with Cookie Run: Kingdom, as shown in the image. Click on the desired account to be linked and follow the on-screen instructions or refer to step 3 to proceed.

Standoff 2

Standoff 2 lets you link your Google and Facebook accounts with the game. The steps below will tell you how to do it.

1. Launch Standoff 2 from your BlueStacks home screen.

2. If you are launching the game for the first time after installing it, the game will ask you to sign in with one or more of your accounts, as shown in the image. Please select an account to proceed.

3. After you choose to sign in with a particular account, you will be taken to the login page for that platform. Enter your username and password. Then, click on "Continue".

4. If you wish to switch to a different account, select the "gear" icon in the game lobby to access in-game settings.

5. The Settings page will open with the "Game" tab highlighted. Here, find the "Account" option and click on "Sign Out" in front of it.

6. You will now be logged out of your current account. Choose the desired platform with which you want to log in to the game and follow the on-screen instructions or refer to step 3 to know how to proceed.
