How can I allocate the recommended memory?

The steps given below will show you how to allocate the recommended memory for Free Fire.

1. Launch BlueStacks 5 and click on the gear icon from the side toolbar.

2. The Settings menu will open up on the Performance tab. Here, you will find the option for Memory allocation.

3. Open the drop-down menu for Memory allocation and assign "Medium (2 GB)" memory to BlueStacks 5.

NOTE: If your system configuration consists of 8GB or more RAM, you may also choose "High (4 GB)" memory for optimal performance.

4. Once done, click on the "Save changes" button as shown below.

5. You will be now asked to restart BlueStacks 5 to apply the changes you have made. Click on "Restart now" to proceed.

How can I choose the recommended performance settings?

To select the best performance setting for Free Fire in BlueStacks 5, click on one of the links given below:

For users without a dedicated GPU in their PC

1. Launch BlueStacks 5 and click on the gear icon from the side toolbar.

2. The Settings menu will open up on the Performance tab, where you'll find the option for CPU allocation.

3. Open the drop-down menu for CPU allocation and choose either "Low (1 core)" or "Medium (2 cores)" for BlueStacks 5.

4. Now, click on the "Save changes" button as shown below.

5. You will be now asked to restart BlueStacks 5 to apply the changes you have made. Click on "Restart now" to proceed.

For users with a dedicated GPU

1. Click on the gear icon from the side toolbar, as shown below.

2. Within the Performance tab, you'll find the option for CPU allocation.

3. Now, open the drop-down menu for CPU allocation and select the option "High (4 cores)".

4. Click on  "Save changes" and restart BlueStacks 5.

5. Now, reopen the settings menu and go to the Graphics tab.

6.  Here, find the "GPU in use" section and enable the option "Prefer dedicated GPU (for NVIDIA GPU's)".  This will allow BlueStacks to use the dedicated NVIDIA GPU and thus, improve the overall performance.

7. Click on the "Save changes" button as shown below.

8. Lastly, restart BlueStacks 5 one final time to apply all the recommended settings for Free Fire.
