How to play games with Android 13 (Beta) on BlueStacks 5

You can now play games using Android 13 (Beta) on BlueStacks 5, with improved responsiveness, fewer crashes, and broader support for Android 13 apps.

To do this:

  • Click on the Multi-instance Manager icon on the Side toolbar
  • Select "Create an instance"
  • Choose "Android 13 (Beta)" from the drop-down menu
  • Click on "Download"
  • Once the necessary files have been downloaded, click on "Start" beside the Android 13 instance in the Multi-instance Manager window.

NOTE: Alternatively, you can also download Android 13 (Beta) directly from our official website.

For a more detailed walkthrough, take a look at the steps below.

1. To create an Android 13 instance, launch the Multi-instance Manager by clicking on its icon in the Side toolbar on your BlueStacks 5 home screen.

2. Click on "New Instance" and then select "Fresh instance". You will now be asked to choose an Android version. Here, select "Android 13 (Beta)" and click on "Next" to continue.

3. You can now customize the instance according to your preference by specifying the following:

  • CPU cores: Specify the number of CPU cores you wish to assign for this instance.
  • Memory allocation: Assign the amount of RAM for this instance.
  • Resolution: Select the resolution for your instance.
  • ABI setting: Choose the desired ABI libraries for your instance.
  • Performance mode: Select a suitable performance mode to experience optimum performance.
  • DPI: Allot a DPI from 160, 240 and 320.
  • Instance count: You can create one or more instances with the same settings.

4. Click on "Download" to get the additional files for the selected Android version.

5. Once the download is complete, click on "Start" as shown below.

6. After the new instance launches, search for the desired Android 13 compatible game using the search bar on the home screen or the Store, as shown below.
