Problem
An error popup is shown due to less disk space on your desktop/laptop in the following scenarios:
- Immediately after launching BlueStacks 5
- While trying to install an app using an APK file
- If your computer runs out of disk space while using BlueStacks 5
- While creating a new instance using the Multi-instance Manager
- While dragging and dropping media files on BlueStacks 5
Cause
This is due to insufficient disk space on your desktop/laptop.
Solution
To resolve this, you can delete some unwanted files to free up at least 5 GB of disk space in the drive where BlueStacks 5 is installed.
Simply:
- Delete any unwanted files
- Empty the recycle bin
Once done, launch BlueStacks 5 and the error pop-up will no longer appear.
