Antivirus software getting you down? This article will guide you in improving your BlueStacks performance by configuring the antivirus software installed on your PC.
How to configure my antivirus software?
Double-click the icon that represents your antivirus program. AVG, Avast, Norton and McAfee are some of the most common.
If you are not sure which icon represents your antivirus program, holding the mouse cursor over the icon (without clicking) will display the name of the program. Double-clicking will bring up the program's main menu.
1. Avast Antivirus:
- Please use the recommended settings for Avast antivirus, as described in this article.
- You may also try disabling Avast shields control (temporarily) by referring to Avast's official support page.
2. AVG Antivirus:
- AVG slows down BlueStacks due to one of its settings. Please update your AVG antivirus settings as described in this article.
- You may also disable AVG protection temporarily. Check out the official support page of AVG for details.
3. McAfee Antivirus:
Disable McAfee real-time scanning temporarily. Read this for information on how to do it.
4. Norton Antivirus:
Disable auto-protect temporarily. Here's how you do it.
5. ESET NOD antivirus:

6. Kaspersky:

7. Quick Heal Antivirus:
