Why do I see a "Grant Accessibility" pop-up on BlueStacks Air

Problem

When using BlueStacks Air to play FPS games on your Mac, you may encounter a pop-up requesting you to grant Accessibility Access for BlueStacks from your Privacy & Security settings. Denying this request may result in gameplay issues, such as a restricted panning range in Aim, Pan, and Shoot mode, the mouse going out of bounds, and the risk of accidentally clicking outside the product, leading to various disruptions and a poor gaming experience.

Cause

This pop-up appears because macOS requires permissions for BlueStacks to function seamlessly in FPS games. Without these permissions, BlueStacks cannot provide the full range of functionalities, leading to performance issues like restricted mouse movement.

Solution

To resolve this issue and ensure smooth gameplay, follow these steps to grant Accessibility permissions to BlueStacks:

Click on Apple menu on your Mac  ➔  Open the Settings Menu  ➔  Select the  Privacy & Security tab from the sidebar    Click Accessibility  ➔  Enable permission for BlueStacks ➔  Restart BlueStacks

NOTE: If you don’t see BlueStacks listed, click the + button at the bottom, search for the app, and select it.
