What can I do with the microphone on BlueStacks Air?
You can now use your microphone on BlueStacks Air to communicate effortlessly within apps and games such as Standoff 2.
Whether you're strategizing with your team in a competitive match or connecting with friends during gameplay, the microphone allows you to communicate with ease and enhances your gameplay experience.

How can I use the microphone?
1. To use your microphone:
- Select the "Volume" icon on the Side toolbar.
- Click on the toggle beside "Microphone" to enable it.
NOTE: The microphone will be disabled by default.
2. If you're enabling the microphone for the first time, the pop-up shown below will ask you to allow the necessary permissions required for BlueStacks Air.
Click on "Allow" for these permissions to be granted automatically.
While clicking on "Allow" should be sufficient, the following section covers how you can manually enable permissions for your microphone on your Mac, if you would like to do it manually.
How can I manually enable permissions for my microphone on Mac?
To manually enable microphone permissions:
- Click on the "Settings" icon on the Dock, as shown below.
- Within the "Privacy and Security" tab, click on "Microphone".
- Click on the toggle beside "BlueStacks" to enable it.
NOTE: BlueStacks Air will need to be closed when you're enabling microphone permissions. If BlueStacks Air is open, a pop-up will appear asking you to close it to enable permissions successfully, as shown below. Click on "Quit & Reopen" to proceed.
