What’s new?
1) Create new custom control schemes. You can now create and save a new custom profile according to your own need of gameplay. Here's how you can create a new custom profile:
a) While using any application right-click on the keyboard control option on the sidebar.
b) It will display the current or default control scheme. Please refer to the picture shown below.
c) You can see the available control scheme by clicking on the drop-down arrow.
d) You can click on the click new scheme to create an entirely new scheme and you can set different key mapping accordingly, once all the key mappings are set click on save changes.
For example: In the picture below we have created a new control scheme named as custom and mapped a few key mapping controls in it. New control scheme will be saved on you will click on save changes.
e) You can also edit the current or default control schemes, by adding any new key mapping component. It will automatically create a new control scheme and it will be named as (current name) (1), it will be saved by clicking on save changes.
For example: In the picture shown below a new component (w+s) is added to the predefined control scheme 1080p and it created a new control scheme with the name 1080p (1).
2. Editing the name of the new custom control scheme.
You can edit the name of the new custom control scheme by clicking the pen icon next to the name of the new custom control scheme. Make sure to click on save changes to save the edited name.
3. Import and Export control schemes
You can now use import and export feature to migrate a custom control scheme between different instances of BlueStacks on the same PC or BlueStacks installations on different PC's/
For example: If you want to use a custom created control scheme on a different PC, then you have to export the current control scheme from your PC, transfer the file to the second PC and then import the same file containing the control scheme.
a) How to export the custom control scheme .cfg file.
- Click on the Export icon on the top right corner.
- Select the name of the custom control scheme which you want to export.
- Click on export.
- Select the location where you want to save the file.
- Click on save.

b) How to import a custom control scheme .cfg file.
- Click on the import icon.
- Select the .cfg file which you want to import.
- Click on open.
- Select the .cfg file.
- Click on import.
- You can see the imported .cfg from the drop-down menu.
4. Copy the custom control scheme.
You can copy the custom control scheme by clicking the copy option next to the name of the control scheme. Please refer to the picture below.
