This article will help you to get and share macros from users of BlueStacks.
How to discover and get macros from the community
1. To access the community, click on the "Macro Recorder" button on the sidebar, as shown below.
2. On the BlueStacks macro recorder page, you can access the community page by clicking on Open community, as shown below.
3. You will then be redirected to our all-new community page. To download a macro, a search bar has been created for your convenience. Here you can look for various macros by typing in either the action the macro will be performing or the name of a specific game.
4. If you would like to download or simply view macros that are available for a certain game, such as Raid Shadow Legends, just type the name of the game in the search bar. A list of all the available macros for that game will then be shown.
5. Once you have found the macro you wish to get, you can click on the macro after which you will be redirected to a new page from where the macro can be viewed in detail. To download the macro, click on "Get" which is illustrated in the image below.
6. You will then be prompted to confirm if you would like to import the macro to BlueStacks installed on your PC. Click on "Continue".
7. After that, you will be shown another window, wherein the message "Macro imported successfully" will appear. This will confirm the macro has been imported to BlueStacks on your PC and is now ready for use. Before using the macro, be sure to add a shortcut key for it so that it can be used in-game.
How to upload macros to the community
1. To access the community, select the "Macro Recorder" button on the sidebar as shown below.
2. Once that is opened, at the bottom of that window you can access the community through "Open community" which is illustrated below.
3. On pressing that, you will be redirected to the community page. Here you can upload your own macros and also download the ones which will be shared by other users. To upload, simply press the "Upload " button on the top right of the screen.
4. You will then be redirected to an upload page where you will have various options which are explained in detail below.
- Macro: To select the macro which you wish to share, click on the drop-down menu under Macro. You will then be shown a list of the macros you currently have on your PC. You can choose the one you wish to share.
- Installed Games: Here, you can select the game for which the macro has been made.
- Title: Add a title for your macro that will help your macro stand out.
- Description: After adding the title, you can write a brief description as to what action the macro will perform in the game. This will be helpful to other users who would be looking to download your macro. Be nice to them.
- Search Tags: To make your macros more relevant and accessible to users on BlueStacks, you can add tags to your macros. Adding the name of the game in tags is a good practice to make your macro easily searchable.
5. All that is left for you to share your macro then, is to click on "Submit macro" as highlighted below. After the upload, you will be able to see your macro on the community page. Happy sharing!
