Recommended settings for playing Free Fire
1. RAM: Allocate at least 2GB RAM
2. FPS: We recommend playing Free Fire at 90 FPS. Refer to this article to know about the system requirements and steps needed to achieve it.
3. Performance:
- If you don't have a dedicated GPU, please select 'Low/Medium' CPU performance.
- If you have a dedicated GPU:
- Select 'High' CPU performance.
- nVIDIA users should enable the use of a dedicated graphics card.
How can I allocate RAM to BlueStacks?
1) Open BlueStacks Settings by clicking on the gear icon, as shown below.
2) In the settings menu, select the Engine tab.
3) Within the Performance section, click on the box next to RAM (MB).
4) From the dropdown menu, select Medium (2 GB).
NOTE: If your system configuration consists of 8GB or more RAM, you may also choose High (4 GB) option for optimal performance.
5) Click on Save and then restart BlueStacks for the changes to take place.
How can I improve CPU performance on BlueStacks?
Here's how you can do it if you wish to use BlueStacks:
For users without a dedicated GPU
1) Open BlueStacks Settings by clicking on the hamburger menu icon, as shown below.
2) In the settings menu, select the Engine tab.
3) Within the Performance section, click on the box next to CPU.
4) From the dropdown menu, select Low (1 core) or Medium (2 core), as shown in the image below.
5) Click on Save. Now, restart BlueStacks for the changes to take place.
For users with a dedicated GPU
1) Open BlueStacks Settings by clicking on the hamburger menu icon, as shown below.
2) In the settings menu, select the Engine tab.
3) Within the Performance section, click on the box next to CPU.
4) From the dropdown menu, select High (4 cores), as shown in the image below.
5) If you are using an nVIDIA GPU, scroll down and find the GPU settings section. Make sure that the box in this section is checked, as shown below. This will allow BlueStacks to use the dedicated nVIDIA GPU and thus, improve the overall performance.
6. Click on Save. Now, restart BlueStacks for the changes to take place.
