How to manage notifications for BlueStacks Services

How will this help?

You can now easily manage notifications that you receive from BlueStacks Services by setting your notification preferences in just a few clicks.

You can do this by simply selecting the notifications you would like to receive across categories, such as deals & rewards, game announcements, recommendations and more.

NOTE: By default, all notification types will be enabled and can be customized according to your preference.

How can I manage notifications?

You can manage notifications from BlueStacks Services in any of the following ways:

• From BlueStacks X Settings
• From the notification
• From BlueStacks icon in Windows Notification Area (Systray)
• From BlueStacks App Player Settings

From BlueStacks X Settings

1. After launching BlueStacks X, click on the hamburger icon at the top right corner of your screen and select "Settings".

2. In the settings menu, click on the "Preferences" tab and then select "Push Notifications".

3. Then click on the "Manage Notifications" button, as shown below.

4. A window will appear for "Windows Push Notifications". Here, you can click on the toggle button to enable or disable notifications for the following:

• Deals & Rewards
• Game announcements
• Game recommendations
• Others

NOTE: A blue slider indicates notifications are enabled. Click on the toggle button to disable notifications.

5. Once you've made the changes, click on the "X" icon, as shown below.

From the notification

1. On the notification you receive, click on the "three dots" icon.

2. A menu will appear with the following options:

• MANAGE BLUESTACKS NOTIFICATIONS: This option lets you select the categories for which you would like to receive notifications.
• Turn off all notifications for BlueStacks Services: This option automatically stops all notifications from BlueStacks Services instantly.
• Go to notification settings: This option takes you to Windows Notification settings where you can manually stop all notifications from BlueStacks Services.

3. Here, select the "MANAGE BLUESTACKS NOTIFICATIONS" option.

4. A window will appear for "Windows Push Notifications" where you can use the toggle button to enable or disable notifications for Deals & Rewards, Game announcements, recommendations and Others. 

NOTE: A blue slider indicates notifications are enabled. Click on the toggle button to disable notifications.

5. Once you've made the changes, click on the "X" icon, as shown below.

From BlueStacks icon in Windows Notification Area (Systray)

1. Select the "BlueStacks" icon present in the system tray.

2. Click on "Manage Notifications", as shown below.

3. On the "Windows Push Notifications" window, use the toggle button to enable or disable notifications for Deals & Rewards, Game announcements, recommendations and Others.

4. Once you've made the changes, click on the "X" icon.

From BlueStacks App Player Settings

1. Launch BlueStacks 5 and click on the gear icon on the Side toolbar to access the "Settings menu".

2. In the Settings menu, click on "Preferences".

3. Under "Windows Push Notifications", click on the "Manage" button, as shown below.

4. A window will appear for "Windows Push Notifications" where you can click on the toggle button to enable or disable notifications for the following:

• Deals & Rewards
• Game announcements
• Game recommendations
• Others
