How can I update the GPU drivers on my desktop/laptop?

You can learn how to update drivers for your GPU from the links below:

Intel GPU:

  1. Download the Intel Driver and Support Assistant from the official support page of Intel.
  2. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
  3. Launch the Intel Driver Assistant and click on "Download all" to install all the available updates.

NOTE: If you do not see any updates available for your computer on the Intel website, you may also check the official support page of your computer's manufacturer such as ASUS, Lenovo, etc. for the latest updates.

AMD GPU:

  1. Download the AMD Graphics Driver Installer from the official support page for AMD.
  2. Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
  3. All the drivers on your computer will be updated automatically.

nVIDIA GPU:

  1. Search for "GeForce Experience" on your taskbar and open the app from the search results.
  2. Click on the "DRIVERS" tab and select "CHECK FOR UPDATES".
  3. Click on the "DOWNLOAD" button in front of a driver to install it on your desktop/laptop.

How can I free up RAM on my desktop/laptop?

1. Close programs that you don't need by clicking on the "X" icon at the top-right corner.

NOTE: 1. Before closing any program, save your work, to prevent any loss
           2. Avoid running multiple programs at once to prevent excessive use of RAM. 

2. If you face any difficulties in closing a certain program, you can force-stop it from the Task Manager. To do so, press "CTRL + SHIFT + ESC", select the program you wish you close and click on "End task".

3. You can also disable startup programs from the Task Manager to reduce RAM consumption. To do this, press "CTRL + SHIFT + ESC" and click on the "Startup" tab. Then select the program you wish to disable on startup and simply click on "Disable", as shown below.
