If you are experiencing low FPS in Among Us, you can resolve the issue by either uninstalling and reinstalling the game or clearing its app data. Once done, manually enable High FPS in BlueStacks 5 settings.
Note: This solution is required only when playing Among Us on a BlueStacks 5 Android 13 instance. On Android Pie, you can play Among Us at 120+ FPS without following these steps.
How can I reinstall Among Us?
- On the BlueStacks 5 homescreen, press and hold the left mouse button on the Among Us app icon.
- Click on Uninstall and then click OK to confirm. Among Us will now be uninstalled from BlueStacks 5.
- Launch the Play Store, log in, search for Among Us, and click Install.
- Once the installation is complete, the Among Us icon will appear on your BlueStacks 5 home screen.
How can I clear the app data?
Alternatively, you can clear the app data for Among Us by following the steps below.
- Open the System apps folder, click on Settings, and then click on Apps.
- Select Among Us and on the App info page, click on Storage.
- Select Clear Storage and click OK to confirm.
Note: Clearing the app data automatically clears the app cache. You do not need to clear the app cache separately.
How can I enable High FPS on BlueStacks 5?
- Click the gear icon ⚙️ on the BlueStacks 5 sidebar to open the Settings menu.
- Under the Performance tab, turn on Enable High Frame Rate.
- Use the FPS slider to set the frame rate to your preferred value, up to 240 FPS.
- Click Save changes and select Restart now to apply the new settings.
You can now launch Among Us and enjoy gameplay at over 120 FPS on your BlueStacks 5 Android 13 instance.
