Solution for error while syncing game progress across devices in The Tower - Idle Tower Defense

If you're facing issues syncing your game progress in The Tower - Idle Tower Defense while switching between your phone and BlueStacks 5, it may be due to a mismatch in cloud save data between the two devices.

Even though the game supports Google login for syncing, your latest progress may not sync correctly if the game isn’t manually saved before switching. Follow the steps below to ensure your progress stays updated across both devices:

1. Launch The Tower - Idle Tower Defense on your primary device and within in-game settings, go to "Account" and then click on "Force Cloud Save" to immediately sync your current progress to the cloud.

NOTE: Make sure you're signed in with the same Google account on both your phone and BlueStacks 5. This account should be used to save and retrieve progress.

2. Once you’ve saved your progress, exit the game completely on your primary device to prevent any data conflicts or outdated sessions.

3. Now, open the game on your secondary device and make sure you're logged into the same Google account. Your most recent progress should load automatically without issues.

4. If the game is still running on BlueStacks 5 and you launch it on your phone, you may get a "New session detected” pop-up asking whether you want to load the updated version of your game.

To continue playing on the device where the message appeared, click “Yes.” To exit the game on this device and continue playing on the other device, click “No.”

NOTE: To confirm your progress was saved correctly, go to the game’s Settings and check the last saved time. This ensures you’re loading the most recent version when switching devices.

By following these steps, you can seamlessly switch between devices without losing any progress in The Tower – Idle Tower Defense.
