How will this help?
If the side toolbar and top bar are missing in BlueStacks 5, as shown below, you can resolve it by following the steps given in the article. Additionally, if you're streaming BlueStacks 5 using Windows Capture in OBS or Streamlabs OBS and can't see the top bar or side toolbar, the steps outlined here will help you resolve the issue.
How can I resolve this?
You may resolve this using one of the following ways:
1. Depending on whether the top bar or the side toolbar is missing, you can access BlueStacks settings in the following ways.
- Access BlueStacks settings through the hamburger menu on the top bar
- Access BlueStacks settings through the gear icon on the Side toolbar
If both the Side toolbar and top bar are missing, launch Multi-Instance Manager from the desktop and click on the gear icon to access BlueStacks settings, as shown below.
2. Click on the "Graphics" tab and under Interface renderer, select a different option than the one applied before from the drop-down menu. Click on "Save changes". To apply the changes, a restart is required. Click on "Restart now".
NOTE: If the issue is not resolved on the first try, please select a different setting from the drop-down menu of Interface renderer. Be sure to try out all the settings available.
Through a dedicated BlueStacks utility tool
Download and install this utility tool that we have created to fix the missing side toolbar and top bar. Open the folder where the utility file is saved and run it on your PC.
NOTE: The tool will run for a very short duration and automatically close BlueStacks 5.
Upon restarting BlueStacks 5, both its side toolbar and top bar will become visible.
Thank you for choosing BlueStacks. We hope you enjoy using it. Happy Gaming!
