Please follow the steps given below to resolve the lag or performance-related issues:

1. Enable virtualization on your computer. You may also refer to our guide that describes how to do this.

2. Allocate more RAM and CPU cores from the Settings menu.

3. Switch to a different performance mode.

4. Keep your graphics drivers updated to their latest version.

5. Free up RAM on your PC by closing any unwanted/idle applications. This can also be done through the Task Manager. To do so:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Select the program you wish you close
  • Click on "End Task" on the bottom right.

6. Disable startup programs. Here's how to do it:

  • Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.
  • Click on the "Startup" tab.
  • Select the program you wish to disable on startup.
  • Click on "Disable" on the bottom right.

7. Configure your antivirus correctly to improve the overall performance of BlueStacks 5.
