How can I resolve crash or black screen?
You can resolve any app crash or black screen that you may experience while streaming your BlueStacks 5 gameplay with Discord, OBS or any other software by following the steps given below.
1. Launch BlueStacks 5 and click on the "gear" icon to open the Settings menu, as shown below.
2. Select the "Graphics" tab and under "Interface renderer", select "Software". Then, click on "Save changes" and restart BlueStacks for the settings to be applied.
You will now be able to stream your BlueStacks 5 gameplay without facing any black screen or crash issues.
I am still facing these issues on Discord. What should I do?
If you're still experiencing an app crash or observing a black screen while streaming BlueStacks 5 on Discord, you can follow the steps below to optimize Discord User Settings.
1. Launch Discord and click on the gear icon, as shown below.
2. The Discord User Settings will open. Here, open the "Voice & Video" tab under "App settings"
3. Now, scroll down until you find the “Screen Share” settings.
4. Turn off the “Use our latest technology to capture your screen” option.
Once these changes have been applied, please restart your Discord stream.
