How can I resolve this?
If you see a message stating that authentication is required even though you are signed in to Google Play Store on BlueStacks 5, you can try the following to resolve the issue:
- Clear data and cache for Google Play Services and Google Play Store
- Remove your Google account from BlueStacks 5 and add it again
1. Clear data and cache for Google Play Services and Google Play Store:
You should clear the data and cache for Google Play Services and Google Play Store frequently to ensure the smooth functioning of your apps and to avoid any login-related problems.
To clear the data and cache:
- On your BlueStacks home screen, select System apps ⮕ Settings ⮕ Apps.
- Select the app from the list for which the data/cache is to be cleared.
- Click on Storage.
- Click on Clear data to delete the data as well as cache.

2. Remove your Google account from BlueStacks 5, then add it again:

You will then be able to log in to the Play Store without any issues. Here is how you can do this:
